Do you have a free tier?

Yes, in addition to 21 days free trial we also provide a free tier. On the free tier first 20,000,000 spans per month are free.

All our features are available on the free tier.

How do you bill?

We are using Paddle which handles billing and local taxes (like VAT). All your billing details stay within Paddle and we don't have access to them. Paddle provides you a receipt if you need one.

We bill monthly and the price depends on your usage which is available on the billing page.

How to decrease the price?

You can use sampling to reduce the number of spans you collect. You can also set the hard limit (budget) on how much you are willing to spend each month.

Do you have refunds?

We made sure to design our billing in a way that refunds are not necessary:

  • You can use Uptrace without a credit card and stay on the free quota indefinitely.
  • When billing is enabled, we charge you in the end of a month and only if you are using the service.
  • You can set a monthly budget and we won't charge more than that.
  • You can cancel at any time. No questions asked.
